My 303 has a rigid LCD surface and is very resistant to any screen rippling, even with great pressure. I doubt the 314 has changed.
Does the 314XMi have a hard screen top like most Fujistu and Toshiba tablets, or does it have a soft screen like most normal notebooks? It seems like a soft screen would have a much shorter life span even with a WriteShield or other protector.
If the 314 does have a soft screen, does it make "ripples" like a normal notebook?
Thanks for your answers

no ripples and I expect it to last longer than the computer is usable :)
Good point. I think I'm out of questions for now, so I'm going to order mine today!
