Does anybody have a recommendation for a good game to play on a M1400. I'd be interested in any genre. Thanks

I would suggest the Asian board game called Go, which you can play online. You can also also play it face to face on the tablet with an opponent using two styli... but be careful not to hover over the board with your styli or the other guy will have trouble making his move. You can get programs that will play against you like SmartGo and Many Faces of Go, but since Go (unlike chess) can't be programed at a high level of play those programs won't offer much of a challenge beyond the beginner level.

Since Go (like chess) won't tax the graphic card or processor it is ideal for play on a tablet, any tablet.

For more information go to www.usgo.org and visit the links in my sig file.

Any of the Pop Cap games work great on the tablet.

Lately I've been enjoying Phantom EFX Vegas Casino ($19.99 for the game $9.95/month for the online play). Not real money gambling, just virtual money but it's structured like a Massive Multiplayer Online Game with leveling, suites, VIP points, online tournaments and more. Here's a screenshot of one of the lobby:

There is also another game if you like slots that plugs into it called Bonus Mania (also $19.99).

In the past I've also played Everquest and Star Wars Galaxies MMORPG. I have 1GB RAM in the M1400 and all was well.

None of the above games are ink-enabled, but the casino one seems very natural on a slate tablet.

    UPDATE: fixed the broken image

I have been playing Slate Labyrinth for a few days and it is a lot of fun. Here is a hint: draw lines that make pipes more narrow.

    TDavid,

You said you'd been playing SWG on the M1400? I thought that was impossible due to the lack of graphics capability? Something about the chip not doing true T&L rendering and the software recognising that fact?

On a positive note: I have got NWN (including all expansion packs) running on my M1400VA - its superb with pen only, sitting in the lounge in my comfy armchair with the tablet on my lap!

I have NWN installed, but I feel a need to finish Temple of Elemental Evil first. Meanwhile, Icewind Dale, Demon Stone and Pool of Radiance have been patiently waiting...and I got DragonShard for Christmas.
