That's the battery, but I have no idea where you'd plug it in. Look at the shape of it.
Could someone verify if this will work before I try to order one? :)
According to the following datasheet there exists a 12-cell Tecra m4 primary battery:
http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/cont...-S435-data.pdf
It has part number PA3357U-1BRL
After searching for it on the toshibadirect site, I found it, but it does not list the M4 as a compatible computer.
"Compatible with Toshiba Satellite A50, A55, Portege M300, S100, Tecra A2, M2, M2V and M3 series portable computers and Qosmio F25 series AVPCs"
Anyone know the real deal? Is this guy compatible with the M4? Then it should also be compatible with the M200 as well, right?

That website claims the battery is compatible with
"Toshiba Satellite A50, A55, Portege M300, S100, Tecra A2, M2, M2V and M3" as noted in the first post
which does not include the M4. I could be wrong.
Guys. I'm not saying that this battery would work but the fact that M4 is not listed doesn't say anything. I saw some other accessories which don't list M4 but work. Mostly because M4 is new.
Besides that, it would be cool if this would work with the M4.

From what I can tell, it looks like that if this were to work, it would actually not be a PRIMARY battery, but would attach through the Expansion port on the bottom. I don't have my M4 yet, but upon examining an R10/R15 (same chassis), this is the only possible way for a battery as awkward looking as that one to fit on the M4.
So why to they call it a PRIMARY battery?
Bumping this old thread to find out the consensus. Does the 12-Cell fit the M4? This would make a huge difference in my hesitation to buy this over the Gateway CX2OOX.
I could be wrong but that battery does not seem to be compatible with the M4.
Best thing would be to call up Toshiba for confirmation though.
@eugenie98: where did you get that datasheet anyway?
