First off, let me start by saying yes, this is my first post and yes, I'm sure it's a stupid step I'm screwing up here. I bought a Toshiba Satellite R15 about a month ago for school and I'm Still just starting to play with/ discover some of the features.my immediate concern is that, while I have no problem using voice commands to navigate and do basic tasks, it doesn't seem to want to go into Dictation mode.... instead it just buzzes at me like I gave it a bad command I've done several training exercises, so that's not it. Is there something I'm missing???

Hi Politicaux,

1) Control Panel > Regional and Language Options
2) Languages tab
3) Details button
4) Click "Add"
5) check the "Speech Recognition" box
