Click the little button at the bottom of the scroll bar below the bottom arrow - it adds about half a page of space at the bottom.

After playing with OneNote for a few days, I noticed a very annoying behavior:
when you write near the end of the page-margin on the right side, or approaching the page end on the bottom, it does not automatically expand page so as to expand more writing space...
It just waits for you to click the scroll-bar to allocate space...
This is annoying for productivity issues.
Is there a way out?
thanks a lot!

Heh, I got this message in my RSS reader. Where did you post this, losemind?:D
I am suggesting that you guys make it automatic expandable...quote:Originally posted by Chris_Pratley

Otherwise the workflow is not productive at all.
I have to click that little button 4 times in 1 minute, since I like to write big. I believe many people tend to write big on screen otherwise they compromise speed. My handwritting is bad on screen but I don't care. I care about speed.
If I have to click that button 4 times per minute, that's very bad. You stop the thinking flow...
@Ulgen:
I post on the general discussion. They moved me here.
Hi losemind,
In case you haven't discovered it, there's a long discussion about OneNote:

Reading through it I've picked up a great deal of information about OneNote and specifically, things I would probably have never discovered on my own.
Also, Chris Pratley's OneNote blog is not to be missed.

Thanks a lot for your inforamtion. I have read through them. Basically you are saying that there is no way to expand space automatically in the current release of OneNote... I have to click 4 times that little button in one minute?quote:Originally posted by WNewquay

If you click the new subpage or new page button, then you will only have to click twice per minute (based upon your estimate above) because a full page is created each time you click.
Where are those buttons?quote:Originally posted by Sagan

Maybe I have already tried them... do they jump to the very far end so I have to scroll back to see what I have written?
These buttons would be the unnumbered tabs along your upper right side--might be a clearer description in the help section. You might have to scroll if you are taking notes in landscape, but not in portrait. When taking notes, I always go to portrait mode, so that it's like a real sheet of paper.
