Try Right-Clicking on the center of the page. You should see an option that says 'Show Completed'. Click that option and your task should now be visible.

I marked a task complete last friday but now I need to get at the notes in that task. I completely understand that a completed task would not show up on Saturday, Sunday or even today - Monday. But when I go back to Friday the task is not there either.... yet on friday it was there but the text was gray.
So how do you see your completed tasks? :-(

My bad, that was for a task in the Syllabus section. I am not sure why your task would disappear from the calendar, or how to get it back.
