Has anyone tried using the SD card reader yet? I've tried reading an SD card, but my computer doesn't see it. [B)] Am I missing something here?

Mine can read my 512 card I use in a digicam, but not the 256 card I use in my Treo 650. Annoying, but frankly I didn't even know the tablet came with a reader at all.
hehehe,:D
Did you have to install any software to get it working, or did it just work automatically? I think my card worked on my Dell 9100 without any software, but now, I'm lost as to why this isn't working with the tablet.:-(
The trick is hehehe:-) It doesn't like us annoying it!!!
It is only accepting 512 mb cards. I tried a 1gb card and it did not work.
First insert the 512md card into the sd slot and the light glows and it shows green.
Then take it out and insert it again and the green light flickers and goes off and the sd card reader is shown in my computer.
Don't annoy it with other cards. It won't listen to you.

My 128 mb stick seems to work.(Actually a transflash in an sd-card adapter.) It did take a while to pop up.I almost pulled it out thinking it didn't work before it popped up. Maybe you guys aren't giving it enough time? I remember installing a bios update a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure what was fixed, but this could be one of the things rectified.
I just found another bios update dated 7/28. It doesn't fix very much but their may undocumented fixes. You want to use the Software Installer under the Think Vantage section in the start menu. (Not the IBM update connector under Access IBM)

Thanks for the posts! Unfortunately, the BIOS upgrade didn't fix the problem. :-( Praveen, you are probably right, maybe this is its way of saying in wants more caviar! [)]
I just tried my 2-64Mb cards used in my Garmin IQ3600 PDA and they worked ok and I tried my 256 and 512Mb cards I use for my digital camera and they also worked fine. Unfortunately I dont have a 1 gig to test.
Not related to the card reader, but on the BIOS update, applied it the other day, and I think it does make a big difference in time to resume from standby. ("Adjust performance of system start and resume time on some models.") That alone is a fantastic benefit. I think I read in some reviews that resume from standby is about ~6 seconds; timing my X41T with the 1.03 BIOS, it's ~3, half that. Almost as good as a PowerBook's, and I think excellent for any PC laptop.
Welp..it didn't improve my resume from stand by times, guess my model isn't one those models.
