Hi Logan,
I'd try re-installing the rotation utility from the Toshiba site.

If that doesn't work, what version of the Forceware drivers are you using?
Welcome to the Buzz!
I've got a Toshiba Portege M205-S810 tablet pc, running Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005, and I cannot rotate the screen.
Recently, it went back to Toshiba for repairs. When it came back, I had purchased a new game which would not work. Tech support for the game recommended trying to update my Nvidia drivers. I tried updating using Nvidia's new Forceware thing; it wouldn't let me, so I looked at a home-brew solution which involved editing one of the nvidia driver files so Windows would recognize it. As I installed the driver, Windows gave me the messages saying "Driver has not passed LOGO testing, etc.", and I ignored it.
My computer works fine, and the game works too, but now my display can't rotate. When I try to rotate it, I get a "The settings you requested cannot be supported" error message.
Anyone know how to fix this? Do I need to rollback my driver? It'd be really unfortunate if I have to choose between playing my game or rotating the screen...

Wow, 5,000+ posts! Thanks for the welcome!
I just removed/reinstalled the rotation utility like you said, and, unfortunately, it hasn't done anything. The version of Foreceware that I'm using is 7.1.
Hi Logan,
Check out this post about using 77.74 (which is working for me).

You need to change the rotate flag from 0 to 0x40
I haven't messed around with the video drivers so I haven't gone through this, for a whole bunch of people that have and step by step instructions on how, sift through this thread

I took a look at those two forums (sorry for not responding; I was at Las Vegas) and it looks like I need to set that rotate flag thing. I'm downloading the drivers and INF files again and will post back with the results.
Success! It worked! Tablet rotated and the game is running peachy! Thanks for all your help!
