Default I recently installed gobinder onto a new machine

I recently installed gobinder onto a new machine and imported old database of my tabs, etc. I am trying to print to agilix gobinder from the web or msword and I am seeing the process happen but I think the files are going to cyberspace--any help out there on how to set up the print to aspect. I have looked in the help files but have been unable to locate the answer. Please help--I am in the process of organizing my classes for this fall--I use gobinder a lot for teaching science.

    Rob,
I have had that happen to me too. I think it happens when you use the print capture tool and don't have a GoBinder tab selected.

So, what i do is go to the web page in Internet Explorer, then I open GoBinder and select the tab I want the page to go to. Then I go back to Explorer and use the GoBinder print capture. It should go to whatever tab you have open.

I believe you should be able to close GoBinder (with a tab open) and still print to the same tab, but I haven't done this in such a long time I can't remember.

Good Luck, I think GoBinder just doesn't know where to put the file if no tab is open when you print to it.

Okay, I just tried it again.

I think you have to have GoBinder open to a specific tab when you use the print capture function.

I couldn't get it to work correctly with GoBinder closed.

GoBinder puts it in the first note tab, if you don't have it open when printing.

Bernd, I read your post and decided to try something. I right-clicked on my tabs and selected 'show hidden'. I scrolled to the left and selected the first tab after the What's New tab. And what did I find, all the files I thought I had lost while using the print capture function.

So now I added a new tab and put it as the very first one on the left. Mine is called 'General' but I guess you could call it 'Unfiled' or something like that.

Now I can keep my previous classes hidden and send new captures straight to GoBinder without having to open it first. Thanks Bernd!

Nice find, django. I wonder how many others have "lost" notes this way. Thanks for the sleuthing and resolution comments.
