Is the Master/Slave switch in the wrong position? Is the cabling pinched in ANY way?
When it is out of the unit, but attached, does it boot?

Hallo everyone.
I am a happy user of TC1100 with 800 MHz, 1,25 GB of Memory and 40 GB HDD. Recently I've decided to improve my baby to 60 GB with Hitachi TravelSTAR 7200 rpm Model: HTS726060M9AT00 and... some problems occured.
I ghosted my whole system to Hitachi through USB (external storage box with USB) and I did it with success. Removed the old HDD, unscrew the shielding (ufff!). Happily put new HDD with shielding, turned on and waiting... then waiting too long. After initilization and the blue screen with Microsoft windows (no keyboard) screen appeared, screen turned light blue and that is it. No response (HDD still spinning I can hear it). What is wrong? I did the whole process twice.
HDD I checked before for bad sectors and so on.
Some help out there?
