I bought version 1. Upgraded to version 2. Let's face it. While this software has great potential... I like FC and really want it to work... it's just not worth the price right now. This was a release that was not ready for primetime, especially at the price FC is asking. When then developers haven't even included basic printing functions from the various views -- like monthly view -- the consumers should hold onto their money. If the rest of you who haven't decided will just hold onto your cash for a while, maybe you can help the rest of us who have already invested get FC and Agilix to finally address some of the problems with this software....

It seemed way too expensive for my liking. 170 $ limited time price. I'm going to see it one note coupled with Outlook will meet my needs.

That's what I'm waiting on too. I'm guessing that OneNote is pretty tightly integrated with Outlook. If that combo doesn't seem to meet my needs, I'll consider buying TabletPlanner.

OneNote has no shared functionality with outlook, besides emailing notes..

Bah! That stinks. Bad assumption on my part.

Not true. You can create tasks from OneNote and the task will be created in Outlook. IOW, you can take a note, and then decide to create a task from it. The task will then be created in Outlook.

As far as I understand tablet planner does not have e-mail access. Is this correct?

I am guessing that One Note will let you include Contact info and other office content in your notes. Is this correct?

    Yeah, too bad about OneNote.

That's why I say... the idea for FC Tablet Planner is right on, but the build and the execution is just not there yet. That's why it burns me that these folks are asking the price they are asking, kind of with the attitude... "oh, go ahead and buy, and we'll keep working to fix things in version 3 or 4 or 9 or 27...."

The kinds of problems I'm talking about are basic, functional printing that should be included in first releases.

I was very disappointed that they did not put any of the features of the Outlook planner into this product. It would have been nice to have the goals, compass, etc. in the Tablet planner app! I kinda get the feeling that it is more of an Outlook wannabe with ink!! I am sure it will get better with newer versions ....

I have to believe that Outlook will soon be Ink aware. What is really needed is away to convert the ink into a standard graphic image. Currently I print to PDF or PaparPort (JPEG/GIF) and send that image out. Note, I've had some trouble printing to PDF.
