Has it shipped? Mine is in transit since Monday(27th), and the service type is express. Not sure how long express its suppose to be from China.(From the UPS website express is suppose be 1-2 days, so I hope I get it today.)

I ordered the thinkexpress model. I couldn't quite swallow the ~$600 charge for bluetooth and the 60 gig drive of the other models. I figure the money is better spent buying a 1 gig sodimm for ~$100, an 8cell battery for $49, a lacie drive for $160, and a IBM Bluetooth BMDC-3 card and antenna for ~$100.

i ordered mine on june 14th... i thot mine was one of the first orders but it hasn't shipped yet. i customized it quite a bit so maybe that's why it hasn't shipped yet. the express models ship first i guess.

I ordered the express model from Lenovo on June 8th. I still have not received it. The sales rep told me June 15th it would arrive 4 weeks from the order date (which would be July 6th). My online order status continues to say "packing", with a delivery date of 7/18. I really hope it doesn't take that long.

I'll update this if anything changes.

When they shipped my battery, it said 'packing' for a day, then shipped for a day, then I could track it but it didn't leave for a day, then it took about 2 days to get here from china.

I don't know if that helps at all, but it was my experience.

Yeah, mine went from packing with an estimated ship date of 7/15 straight to shipped on 6/27, so I'm betting it will ship before the estimated date on the website.

It took 3-4 days to arrive from China.
