As a very new owner of an Acer C302XMi I was wondering if the problems I have been having with the power switch are 'normal'.

I find I have to put pressure on the back of the switch to get it to work 'properly'. A quick push on the switch doesn't seem to turn the machine on. Can any 302 owners out there confirm is this is normal or not for this PC?

I'm also new to hibernation. A couple of times now my Acer 302 has gone into hibernation unexpectedly (once during a long and particularly important download) and I've had the devil's own job waking it up again. Do you have to use the main switch to turn it on again? Is hibernation a good thing to use with a tablet PC?

What you have described with you power switch doesn't sound normal. I don't have that problem with my 302. If it's new, you should call Acer and get it fixed asap.

Can't help you with the hibernation, but you can go into your Control Panel and click on System to tweak the hibernation settings. I'm sure someone more knowledgable in the forum can help you better than I.
