Hey all, I've done another picture on my T4010. I'm not putting it directly here because it MAY be deemed offensive. Not that there's any nudity, young girls in suggestive poses or even violence.
This was a scene from my life which I saw during the second day of the 1st grade of school. The little girl on the steps was looking at me, and I was powerless to stop a school (including teachers and the principal) during the scene pictured here. The family of the 2 children left after only a couple of weeks in this small town. It upset me greatly, and this image is burned in my mind. (you may have to cut and paste the link)

There's a few rough spots, but I'm off to do other things, and will probably revist this in time. Comments of course are more than welcome.
If you're interested, here's a site where I've dumped previous drawings done in pencil or the wacom during the past few years.

EDIT... I was having trouble with the link at work, so here's the pic.

Try copying the link to your address bar, perhaps that will work.
I clicked the link and got right through. I must say ... of all the drawings posted on this forum, this was the first to impress me. Nice work! The contrast between the cross on the bulletin board and the attitude of the people speaks volumes!
very nicely done, zondac. For something that happened so long ago, you really captured the emotion.
In addition, you have some fantastic pics on your other link. I really like the way you show the transitional stages of the picture. Nicely done.
Nicely done! especially since the pictures are done from scratch.
Are you from Vancouver? finally came across another fellow tablet Vancouverite! What tablet pc are u using right now and what program?
Wow! That picture captures very raw emotion... incredible.
(I wish I was anywhere near that artistic!)
Zondac,
Man, that's a powerful illustration. The juxtaposition of the events with the bulletinboard is both disturbing and cautionary.
Your other works are beautiful too. Keep up the good work.
Wow.
Thanks for the terrific compliments. It means alot. I did this with sketchbook and the fuji 4010 (my bebe).
And yes, delsorman, I live in van. Right by the beach in Kits, and I work as a Game Director for Electronic Arts in Burnaby.
