I have a Acer Travelmate C100, it freezes when X

I have a Acer Travelmate C100, it freezes when XP is booting up. Is there a way i can reinstall xp. i don't have a cd-rom or floppy. well i do but i need to get into windows so i can install them. Also is there a way to get to dos so i can try to format my HD. If i hit f2 during boot up it takes me to the BIOS setup screen, but it asks for a SETUP PASSWORD...is there a way around that, cause i don't have a password? please help. im not to savvy with tablets...

Try starting in safe mode. On my laptop pressing f8 or some other key(check manual) at start up will bring up a menu that lets you do this.
