Default Ok, after months and months of waiting, I finall

Ok, after months and months of waiting, I finally got a real TPC! It's not the newest, or fastest, but it beats my Fujitsu Stylistic 2300. [^]

One problem...the 2300 used Win2K which I knew inside and out. Now I've got to learn the XP system. [cry]

Anyone know of any good books or web sites (preferably TPC/XP Sp2 specific) that could help get me up to speed? Areas of particular interest would be security and networking.

    Thanks!

Well, I've always found Brian Livingston's _Windows Secrets_ series invaluable (pulled my hair out until I found it's mention of ``himem.sys /ms2'' line... back in the Win3.0 days).

Haven't gotten the 2000 or XP books yet (still kicking myself for not picking up a copy of the 2000 book when it was available on remainder at a local shop, but couldn't justify it since I still haven't managed to score a copy of Win2000), but I'd be surprised if they're not quite good.

The best tablet pc book I've read is Seize The Workday ( www.seizetheworkday.com )

    Thanks for the replies!

I'll look for Livingston's book and take a look at it. I had seen the "Seize The Workday" book described before but thought I'd wait until I got a real tablet...guess its time now!

There are a couple of books available from MIcrosoft Press on the tablet, but they have not been updated to the version that came out with SP-2. Most of what they state is still true, however.
There is at least one ebook available from www.tabletpcpost.com/.
