I haven't installed that one, I installed the Seagate 100GB 5400 RPM drive. The stock Motion drive is 4500RPM, so I was still getting a speed upgrade. I'd be curious to see the difference.
My experience with the upgrade went as such:
1: Ordered Apricorn EZUpgrade set. Comes with sofware & external USB case for $59, I think.
2: Put the new HD in the USB case, installed the software.
3: Ran the software, it requires a reboot.
4: When the tablet rebooted, it did not transfer data. I still don't know why.
5: After much head pounding, gave up on that method.
6: Put the old 20GB drive in the USB case. Installed EZGig software on a desktop machine
7: Made an image of the 20GB drive onto the desktop.
8: Swapped HD's in the USB case
9: Did a restore image onto the new 100GB drive
10: Installed new HD into tablet
11: Screwed in 20GB drive into USB case
Now, I have an image of the 20GB drive on a desktop, as well as a copy on a 120GB external drive. For disaster recovery, I'll use a desktop to reimage the 20GB drive, and my tablet is up and running again. I formatted the 20GB drive, and now the wife uses it as an external hard drive.
The process took 24 hours, but mostly because I started one night, and got through step 5. Steps 6-11 took 2 or 3 hours, but most of it was unattended work.
Hope that helps.
