Default Compaq slate (Sorry but I love Compaq and Hate H

Compaq slate (Sorry but I love Compaq and Hate HP... this is why I just keep saying the old comp name ;)) have a nifty soft called QuickLook Utility.

My question is simple, since both TPC1100 and S2200 have a bios from Phoenix, can it be possible tu use this utility on a S2200 ?

    Thank you for your feeback.

Interesting utility that I've never heard of or seen. It appears this requires a "native CF slot" which the Scribbler does hot have. Even so, I think it would be very unlikely for this to work on different TPC's even if they had the same company's BIOS.

    Check this out:
    Phoenix FirstWare Assistant 2004
    http://tinyurl.com/5eq3n

"Phoenix FirstWare Assistant 2004 offers users access to critical business information from Microsoft Outlook® in only a few seconds without booting the OS."

"Essentially, it turns a mobile PC into a PDA but without the need to carry a second device or to synchronize data."

If I had Outlook, I'd take it for a test drive, free 30-day evaluation.

I tried to change my Bios Setting and ask to "boot" on PCMCIA, if you let a CF card (with a PCMCIA adapter in it, when the slate boot it will write, NO OS installed, I will try soon.

Just a question does your Scribber 2100/2010/2200 is also very noisy, my Fan never stop working :(

ok I tried ( the trial version ), It Works well, but useless on our Slates, Since It needs the use of a keyboard, otherwise that is AMAZING!Iwhish that the HP Soft could Work on my Slate

I agree with GAG. A pretty slick program, but not being able to change the command to launch it is a major annoyance. When it's not convenient to wait for Windows to boot, it's even less convenient to attach the keyboard to press the F key. A neat idea, but I think I'll stick with my PDA for that basic stuff and leave the tablet in Standby when I might need to briefly reference something.
