302 - Running wi-fi, bluetooth, full brightness, and Bejeweled 2 Delux (a high usage game) I get ~3 hours.
With medium brightness, no bluetooth, no wifi, and just a simple notes program running, ~4.5 hours.
Manufacturers always overstate battery times. I was just wondering what kind of battery life owners of C110 and C300 series tablets are getting with real-world usage.

303 with medium-low brightness, wi-fi running and web surfing full-time: 3-4 hours. I'm very impressed with my battery life overall. And the Centrino speed stepping is seamless, 600Mz idle and full 1.7Gz throttled instantly as needed.
C111 with WiFi full brighness, two hours. If I turn off WiFi, I can get 2.5 hours. If I'm doing something really disk or processor intensive, I can get less.
C110, full brightness, WiFi on I get about 3 hours. If I "manage" my usage by turning down brightness and sleeping when I'm not actively using the system, I can go for a full 1/2 day of meetings.
Thanks for the feedback! It looks like what you all have been seeing for battery times has been better than I expected (and fairly close to Acer's claims).
Now I get to spend a couple weeks trying to decide which model I want!
I have to say that mine is less - I get that battery drop problem where it goes from 28% suddenly to like 8%. As such, it only lasts ~1.75 hours before going to hibernate (even with wi-fi off, and max brightness). I find that's pretty consistent with all my batteries (I have four). I know there's a way to "reset" the batteries so that it doesn't do the drop, but it's kind of a pain to do...
About an hour with WiFi, bright screen, cruising the Net... yadda, yadda, yadda... thus the reason for my post rightbelow...
On a normal day in court using a little wi-fi to surf, medium brightness, jumping from program to program and opening and closing files all day long I get about 4-5 hours out of my batteries on my C303. I am very happy with my battery life and a little shocked.

I didn't know you could reset a lithium battery... how do you do it?quote:Originally posted by Fu-Man Chu
