Yes.
We are planning on offering extended warranties (both an extra year and an extra two years). I even have part numbers. But I don't know pricing or availability yet. I should know those things in the next week or two.
VL-0000-0730-0000 -- Adds an additional year to the standard limited warranty and upgrades year two to Express SHipping (overnight shipment of box, shipping charges covered by NECSAM). Available at time of system purchase or before expiration of the standard one year warranty (battery not included in warranty coverage).
VL-0000-1095-0000 -- Adds two additional years to the standard limited warranty and upgrades years two and three to Express Shipping (overnight shipment of box, shipping charges covered by NECSAM). Available at time of system purchase or before expiration of the standard one year warranty (battery not included in warranty coverage).
We're also looking into screen insurance, which would cover you if you broke your screen, but don't have announcements to make yet on those.
