Hi all! I recently bought a portege 3505 off of ebay slightly used (i dunno how the guy used it but it looks bran new!)anyway, im a aspiring graphic artist and for the most part i love this comp. Theres just one thing i cant let go. As you know,with lcds depending on how you look at it (ie from what angle) you change the contrast of the image drastically....... but it seems as tho most of the time when im in tab pc mode the right (bottom) half of the screen seems a bit lighter than the left (top) which seems darker...... is there anyway to adjust these settings?

im sorry if this has been addressed before, but i looked through the threds for quite a wile and didnt find anyhting. any help you could give me would be very awesome!

It's been awhile since I had a 350x, but there is a way to change the brightness. I recall that if it was at the highest brightness setting, this was the point that the illumination seemed the most even across the screen.

While I'm sure that there may be at least a couple of other ways to adjust things, I think the standard Toshiba approach to brightness is Fn-F6 (Dimmer) Fn-F7 (Brighter)

Just be aware that as you turn up the brightness, you consume the battery faster.
