I have been having a problem turning my table off. When I click the "turn off computer" button, nothing happens. When I click it a second time, it turns the computer off. Does anyone know how to eliminate this problem? Thanks in advance.

Press/slide and hold the power switch in the off position for 3-5 seconds. That should do it - but that's not an "orderly" shutdown. It's pretty much a hard reset (the equivalent of pulling the plug on a desktop).

If you press/slide the power switch briefly, it should do the same thing as when you

If it doesn't then perhaps in your power management settings, it is set to go into standby when you use the power switch. Doing it twice in succession would likely cause a shutdown (although, not an orderly one).

I found that as more applications were added to my 303XMi both the sleep and shut down commands took longer and longer, often seemingly halted, but just waiting usually resulted in the sequence finishing.

With over 130 applications now installed I have maintained the original bare XP speed by regularly defragmenting and running a good registry cleanup tool (very happy with Registry Mechanic) ocassionally.

Also, be certain that both anti virus and spyware protection are up to date and run frequently, spyware can cause an unexplained sudden overall OS response slowdown.
