Default My new Motion 1400 should be arriving in a coupl

My new Motion 1400 should be arriving in a couple weeks, and I want to find a wireless headphone solution that's compatable with my tablet.

I need TWO pair of headphones, because my wife and I will both be using the multimedia aspects of the tablet together. I've heard that Wireless IR headphones aren't a good way to go, but I'm concerened that any random pair of Bluetooth headphones might not be compatible with the bluetooth technology that comes with the motion 1400 - Do any of you know for sure?

We'll be using the tablet to watch movies, listen to mp3s..

Any help would be appriciated.. Tho, I can't afford a 300 dollar pair of headphones ;)

Mostly, I'm just concerned with what will be compatable with the Tablet, if I go the Bluetooth route.. And, has anyone had bad luck with IR Wireless headphones being used near these (or any other)tablets?

    Thanks,

    Psnipe

Bluetooth headphones should work fine. My colleague has a 1400 and is using the Bluetooth a lot these days. She has had no problems with printers, mice, and all sorts of other BT peripherals. She hasn't used a set of headphones, but I suspect they should "pair up" just fine with the Motion.

My only experience with wireless headphones was when one of the office cats chewed up the wire for my iPod earbuds, effectively making them "wireless." Funny, but they didn't work after that...

If you want to save money, perhaps you should think about NOT going wireless. If you will be viewing movies, the tablet isnt that big, so the two of you will have to be right next to each other, and close to the tablet, anyway. A cheap headphone splitter might be the solution. And can you opt for a good set of speakers for playing MP3's?

Depends on your usage, of course.

Thank You :) I've spent today googling my brains out looking into prices and options, reading reviews.. etc - It seems as tho all the non-bluetooth wireless options require an electrical outlet to power the transmitter, and there are very few (i found less than 5) bluetooth headphones that aren't single-ear-bud cell phone accessories - and of these headphones, none are cheaper than 99.00 (and that's the HP one they made for the iPAQ - no word yet if it works with non-ipaq bluetooth devices, tho i suppose it should..) - SO - I think i'm going to just get a couple nice wired headphones for now.

Wireless would have been a lot of fun tho! You own 3 Motion tablets!! I absolutely can't wait for mine to get here :D

I just ordered an M1400VA that in it's off-work hours will be used for GPS, MP3, and DVD movies in the car, particularly on a road trip to Montreal and Indy to take in the North American rounds of the F1 GP. It's not a wireless solution, but I'm looking at a BitHead usb/battery powered amp running Etymotic ER-6 earbuds. The sound quality is supposed to be superb and the isolation provided by the earbuds, which is apparently superior to noise canceling units, should make hearing audio in the car and race radio at the track much easier. Check out HeadRoom (http://www.headphone.com).

The M1400 gives you the ability to change the microphone and headphone ports. You can set it up for two headsets or two microphones or one of each.

There are two audio-out/headphone ports?? I had no idea. If i'm reading you right, that's very very cool.

There are two Audio ports. Depending on what you plug into them, they will change to fit (speakers, headphones, Stereo-in, Microphone). Google Sigmatel Universal Jacks for more info.
