I recently reimaged my computer and I backed up my GoBinder database using the Windows backup program. Now, when I try to open it I get an error:

I also made a backup file just in case something like this happened called "2004-2005 Spring.plb." However, when I try to restore this backup file to even a blank database, GoBinder shuts down and I get the error report window.

This information in the database is vital for school. Is there anything I can do? I am currently running the 30-day trial because I stupidly forgot to write down my key before I reimaged.

I've never used the Windows backup program, so sorry if this is way off base. Did you copy your backup file from a cd? If so, your file may be set to "read only" permissions. You can check the file attributes by right-clicking on the file in Explorer and selecting "Properties." The attributes are shown on the bottom. Make sure that "Read-only" is not checkmarked.

Yeah, that was unchecked, which was odd. Anyway, I found another backup I did seperate of the windows backup program and loaded that into a blank database and it worked! However, if I try to restore it to the "2004-2005 Spring.pln", GoBinder still crashes. Odd....
