Usually an erratic cursor is caused by a dying battery --- unless the pen / battery tests okay on another system, I'd replace the battery first.

My Fujitsu 1200 cursor goes crazy running A GIS program I have with GPS. I have repeatably ran defrag. Will run a little while then back to opening files, etc randomly. Help!
TIA

It was plugged into the 12volt vehicle charger. Showed full charge.
A dying battery in the _pen_. Your pen stylus for a Fujitsu Stylistic 1200 (or 500, 1000 or 2300) takes a AAAA battery (that's _four_ As --- you'll probably need to go to a Battery Etc. or the like).

If memory serves me correctly..... you can break a typical 9V battery open and you'll find six AAAA's inside!

The pen is nowhere near the screen. It just wildly opens programs etc. without being near it.
Hmm, well in that case, I'd check to see if the GIS program thinks there's a GPS system attached to a serial port.
