Has anyone upgraded memory for the 3505? When I bought the machine, it contained 512MB. I want to upgrade to 1GB but it seems that I would have to take out the 512MB SODIMM and replace it with a 1GB SODIMM. I feel like I am wasting 512MB of perfectly good memory. Is there a more cost-effective way? Thank you for any input you can provide.

Check inside the machine. Open a small cover on the back if no RAM modul installed then you have one piece 512mb which is in other side, and you can add another 512mb piece. If there is a 256Â*MB modul installed then you have to replace 2 x 256mb with new 2 x 512mb
