Every time I boot my 5010D it hangs for 90 seconds showing the
blue "Welcome" screen with the keyboard on it. Then it finally shows the desktop and continues with the startup.
When I look in the System Event log there is an ERROR logged from DCOM saying that server such-and-such did nopt register with DCOM within the required timeout. The "such-and-such" looks like a hex registry key so I locate that key in the registry and see it refers to ifgxext.exe, which seems to have something to do with the Intel graphics driver.
Any ideas what ifgxext is waiting for that causes the timeout? Perhaps some service I have disabled?
