Using my tc1100 since 11 monthts, the worst case happend:
i lost my pen!
11 months without keybord, without mouse... and now i feel so handicaped, while using a mouse.
But tomorrow i'll get my pen back! [thumbsup]

I've heard the standard one doesn't come with an eraser? Is that a usefull bit of kit?
Well, it fits in the slot nicely!
I only have the standard HP pen. All my other pens are from RM. As you are in the UK (you should add it to your profile - it help for people suggesting places to buy), you might find that option cheaper (don't know where you can get an HP eraser pen for £30, but please tell me and I will get one!), try having a look at these: http://www.rm.com/HE/Products/Product.asp?cref=PD186316
£15 and they work fine (you can get the normal pen for £9).
