Default Anyone use Cross pens rather than the standard H

Anyone use Cross pens rather than the standard HP one that comes with the TC1100? Are they any better - is it worth buying one?

I dont use them, but considering what others said, yes - replace them with either the cross pens, or , if you are fast enough, contact mark @ http://www.metalstyli.com/ and ask if he still has a stylus / pen for the tablet pc.

the cross pen - overall - is great. ask google ;)

Look here: http://81.5.185.34/tc-one-thousand/m...html#CrossPens for more info on the cross pens on the TC1100.

(There is also some info on the stylus upgrade on the same page - although I *think* they will only work on the TC1000 pen)

I just ordered a Cross Tablet PC pen in hopes that I can write ledgible exams quickly with my left hand. The TC1x00 pen has a wider diameter and weighs less than the average Cross Pen. I got the capless eraser version since I have bad hand to eye coordination using both hands.

    Good information Christopher.

I use the Cross Pen and really enjoy it. I also use the HP eraser pen that fits in the garage of the TC1100. I find that I'm using it more since I don't have to remember to take it with me, although I like the Cross better.

I'm glad it helped! I like the cross-pens ... I think I like the 'with cap variety' better, although I always end up trying to place the cap somewhere I will not forget it - can't place it on the end of the pen 'cos of the eraser.

I think I gotta get myself one of these! Has anyone had any experience trying to get one in Australia? Cross doesn't ship here and there is no Australian dealer for Cross it seems.

After a week of use, this pen is awesome. I like the concept of an eraser end that acts like a push button. It's a very smart engineering move. The Cross pen is a bit heavier and has a more solid write than the HP Eraser Pen.

Two eraser pens are better than one.
