Hi all!

I am having a problem making a W500 work on a TC1100 that came originally with an Intel 2100.

The computer recognizes the hardware, and even the networks are visible, but either the connections are unstable or the connections fail completely to connect.

I wonder if anyone has had any problems and might have solutions to this?

I have a W500 in my TC1100. In the month or so I have had it it has only had a problem once where I got disconnected and then it took 10 or so minutes to reconnect and it wouldn't no matter what I tried. Then it just did. My point is that it should work fine and strong.

In your Network Configuration - try turning off the Odyssey client. If it is already off, try turning it on.

Hi!

I do not have Odyssey installed, only the Atheros client. The card sees the wlan network, and can associate with the access point, but cannot get an IP from DHCP. Note that the wired conneection works perfectly, getting its IP from DHCP.
