    Default Pardon a second posting but unsure mg first subj

    Pardon a second posting but unsure mg first subject line was accurate - so here it is again.

    After a year and getting myM205 to be a really stable system--I have decided to take a plunge and get the multi-dock as a Xmas present. What update from the Toshiba site should I download or be sure I downloaded. I looked and am assuming the two I need are the Tosh Mobile Extension 3 for XPsp2 and the latest ACPI Common Module. Since this forum seems to be the absolute best for advice, any help with the following four questions would be very much appreciated.

    Four questions;

    First are those two what I need to be sure are installed?

    Second--I assume I install those first before docking.

    Third--the latest ACPI common module dated 10-20-04 is actually a lower number version (6.01.05) than the earlier version dated 9-21-04 (6.02.00) Which is the one I should be sure is installed?

    Fourth-I assume that I install the common module first and then the mobile extension. Right?

    Thanks for any and all help.

    If your system is working fine with the Toshiba build upgraded to SP2, you probably won't need anything. The only things it really has to support are the hot undock button and the selectbay. My advice would be to plug it in and try without updating your system.
