I have an Acer c110ti (under warranty until the end of November). It recently stopped working - when I try to turn it on, nothing happens. If I plug in the AC adapter and then an ethernet cord or a USB flash drive, the appropriate lights light up, but nothing happens when I hit the power button. I think it may be the motherboard, and was hoping I might be able to send it to Acer for free repairs under the warranty. Any feedback?

I tried removing the battery, then turning it on with only the AC adapter connected, but no luck. :(
There is an Acer retailer near me - do you think they might be able to do something, or should I deal directly with Acer?
Tablets have to be sent to Texas. Some issue with quality control. The retailer might be able to tell you what is wrong, but they can't fix it.
When I spoke to an Acer customer service person (not tech support) before buying my C111, she told me that they only keep the parts on hand in a central repair depot (in Temple, TX). She said that I could have it repaired at a local repair center, but that since they would have to order the parts it wouldn't be any faster (and might be slower) than having it repaired in Texas.
I had my Acer repaired a week ago. Go to http://www.tabletpcbuzz.com/forum/to...D=18741#115599 for my comments about that repair experience.

Great, thanks. So just bring it to Fedex and they'll know what to do? Does it need any special packaging or anything?
Also, is this the right address?
