I upgraded my C302 Harddisk with 5400 RPM to a 60 gig harddisk with 7200 RPM. It's probebly the best thing you could do to improve the performance of your tpc. And I haven't experienced any problems with noise, it's even quieter than the old HDD..

I think it might be benificial to upgrade to a 2.5" 7200 RPM HD.

I looked for specs on my 303xmi but gave up. You might have to call Acer for the answer.
