    You ready for this one?
This one sucks, Pissing me off terribly.
Putting my tablet away in my bag, like i do everyday comming home from work. I shove it in.Zip it up, come home. Open my bag, take the tablet out... The Pen "Pocket" Clip is bent 75 degrees away from where it's supposed to be... AGHHH! I screamed. My precious pen. God knows I don't want to send it to gateway, but i may be stuck with doing so...
    Wish me luck.
Everyone please be careful with their pen in the holster. You may end up worse than me, no pocket clip at all.

i managed to break the clip completely off my pen but happily discovered that it still works with the slot on the m275xl even in a clipless state. then ... i lost the pen. guess i should be nicer to my computer.

I contacted GW when my pen clip broke off and they sent me a new one under warranty. They required that I mail them the old one in return or be charged. The upshot is that you don't have to go pen-less.

Happened to me too. The clip just gradually cracked and snapped off; I saw it happening weeks before it finally broke. It turns out that missing the clip doesn't bother me at all, though, since the pen fits just fine in its holder (even better now, I daresay). Of course, I don't even wear shirts with a pocket to clip it to!

Mine broke about 6 months ago. The only thing I missed was having a little plastic thingy to play with (which was the cause of said breakage to begin with). Anyway, it's relegated to "spare" status, now, as I bought the Cross pen from Amazon. It really does provide a much nicer writing experience than does the stock pen...if you can keep up with it.

That just happened to my yesterday. I forgot I was holding a $50 and not a $2 pen, started playing with the clip as I was walking and snap. Oh well, like organon, I still have my Cross pen with was my main pen anyway. Now I just gotta stop playing with the tips while bored in class :-P

Broke mine a few weeks ago. I just use it broken. It still fits in its slot and is easy to remove. Aggravates the heck out of me.

I have 3 pens, and the only one I haven't broken (in exactly the same way as you) is the one I've hidden away unused, in case I ever lose the other two.

The pens are actually better with the clip broken off, it's just that my emotions think non-mint-condition must equal bad. So emotions feel like I shouldn't have done it, but my brain prefers it that way. With the clip on, it used to catch all the time on the bag as I was putting it away, such that I had to check and take care each time. Now I have to the freedom to just shove it in the bag without looking. It's much better that way. It's just one less thing to worry about, and that's always good. :-)
