Can you tell me exactly how you copy and past into SuperMemo? I bought a copy at the beginning of the school year but have had some difficulty putting in pictures.
It's a great program, though.
I don't know how many of you have "discovered" this awesome program, but I've been using it for more than a year now. Now that I have a tablet, which I use to take all my notes with (this year in Mindmanager, previously in OneNote), I can directly paste sketches and other notes that I could not otherwise input using a keyboard and mouse. This has made Supermemo's efficiency quadruple. Whereas previously I had to redraw diagrams in Photoshop, now I simply insert a screen clipping of my notes.
Does anyone else here use Supermemo? www.supermemo.com
A brief synopsis of Supermemo:
Supermemo is essentially a smart flash card program. While its features go way beyond the scope of what I say here (indeed, I don't even use all of its features), that is essentially what the program does. What makes Supermemo unique is the fact that it adapts to how well you remember things. With ordinary flash cards, you spend time repeating both difficult and easy to remember cards. Supermemo uses a smart algorithm, based on how you grade yourself on recollection, to space out repitions so that you review difficult questions more frequently than easier ones. This leads to more efficient knowledge accumulation due to the brain's memory mechanisms.
While one can simply dismiss the usefulness of memorizing things, I've found the program invaluable in not only making me remember (for both short- and long-term) important concepts, formulas, and graphs, but has helped force me to review material constantly which prevents cramming for exams.

Yeah, the only problem with Supermemo is that the interface is very, very non-intuitive.
You should be able to do a direct paste. Open the picture in a picture viewer, do a copy, and use CTRL + V in a Supermemo element and it should ask you if you want to insert it as a new component.
Do you think supermemo is worth $40 for the small-budgeted student? I really like their site though.
If you contact them and make a case, they've given me a student discount using the upgrade option, which is (was?) then only $15. If that doesn't work, maybe let slip that you're an MVP and point them to this thread. ;)
