Thread: I would like to purchase this and install a 60 g

Default I would like to purchase this and install a 60 g

I would like to purchase this and install a 60 gig 7200rpm drive. Has anyone tried this? The 5400 rpm would cost another few hundred and I can get a 7200 for about $130 and sell the 40 gig drive it comes with. It comes with an internal cd/dvd drive and was wondering if I could boot off of this drive to reinstall windows.

Also, pictures seem to suggest that I can get this with an additional internal battery in addition to the internal cd/dvd drive. The modular battery appears to be on the left and the cd/dvd is on the right. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the Fujitsu site charge any sales tax and are there any other sites that sell Fujitsu tablets for a reasonable price? Infocater does not stock this unit yet. Any other resellers that would not charge tax? Thanks :D

Unfortunately they do charge sales tax in most states. I was depressed when I went to do the final checkout. They had a handful (maybe 5 or so) states listed that they didn't have a business presence where sales tax didn't apply. I don't remember them off hand but I can tell you that they charge tax in TX.

You can use a $50 coupon code on Fujitsu's site: FPC5067EP
And they were bundling a free Targus notebook bag when I ordered. It'll show in your cart. That might help a little.

sammy... depends on your state... www.portableone.com is in San Jose CA..and I dont think they charge sales tax on shipment out of state... and they are a Fujitsu dealer...FWIW
