Default I'm looking at upgrading my tc1100 with another

I'm looking at upgrading my tc1100 with another 512mb of ram, but I'm not quite clear what the difference is between different companies ram (besides the price). I know tc1100 uses pc2700 333mhz sodimm, but the prices seem to vary by almost $40 (CAD).

    What's the difference?

I would like to know the answer to that question as well as I am thinking of buying more RAM at tigerdirect.ca.

    Thanks.

Before i bought my piece... i was on 512... so i was looking at buying another 512... now... i know crucial is a good brand and all and i was really tempted to buy it... but after talkin to my friend who has a shop that sells such stuff... i bought a Transcend one from him ... at a much cheaper price... i popped it into the spare slot... turned it on... and never have i had to see that piece of beautiful golden heat-sinked ram piece again.
