I have a somewhat unique situation where I'd like to mount the docking station on the wall above my desk so I can essentially stack my laptop and tablet in one workspace. Trust me, it would work far better than setting them side by side since I want to run them as independent machines. I also have a slideout keyboard tray for a seperate mouse/kbd.

If the dock doesn't mount, does anyone have any ideas about how to mount it? While in the dock or on the wall, I probably would do very little writing on it -- i'd take it out of the dock if I needed to. I suppose 2 wall mounted "hooks" could cradle the tablet on the bottom, and a rotating one on the top would keep it against the wall and allow it to be removed (by rotating the hook). It still leaves you with the problem of dangling cables, though.

Anyway, if anyone has any thoughts, please share!

Thanks,
Brandon
