I just got my unit, a beautiful piece.. the LG LT-20 tablet pc..
I'm taking photographs right now, and I'll eventually upload them on my website so that everyone can have a look. :D
Wow, its just the sensation of holding the pen and writing on the screen, I just can't believe it! [^] lol
My unit configuration:
Intel Pentium M 1.6 GHz (dothan) processor
12.1" TFT (WVA) XGA Screen
Integrated Video
Intel 2200 802.11bg

Yes
I would have installed SP2 before posting!
I got SP2 installed on my unit.. But I'm encountering a problem though...
After the installation, Journal wouldn't work, and it returns an error about a missing "inking capability"..
Will I be able to get a setup file of Journal?
You probably got a boot CD with your tablet pc. That CD should have all the software that came on the tablet. You can restore Journal from that CD.
I recovered the system to its default settings.. And then Journal worked, but without SP2.. But thereafter, I installed SP2 and here is the messages that showed up:
Title: Windows File Protection:
Files that are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions. To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files..
I didn't have any accessable external CD-Drive and It wouldn't let me browse either!! I therefore pressed cancel and had the exact consequences before I recovered windows..
Any idea?
BTW, everything is built-in inside the HDD... I have no boot CD!
be sure that your download of SP2 is not currupted. it can do strange effects like that...
Well, with that error message, you pretty well need to have access to an external CD drive, either to restore the files, or to boot from and restore it back to the original system. After that, I would re-downloaded SP2 and try installing again.
I formated the HDD and recovered it back into the default settings. Then, I re-downloaded SP2 as Spencer proposed, and everything works like a charm now.. :)
Thank you everyone! :)
