And they will send one to you for free? Did they send you one for free too Gypsy?

Hmm... If so, I may just pick up a 33173 from buy.com for about $88 (shipping included). It has a retractable cord. Though I do not know how long that cord is. I hope it is at least as long as my original Acer one.

The D tip came included in the 33051 package. I don't know what tips come with the 33173. You might want to just call Kensington and ask: 800-535-4242. That would seem the easiest thing to do before you buy.

Just spoke to the technical support. D tip only works for 33051 model. The fancier model, 33173, has been discontinued. Thus, there will not be any more new tip for it. Apparently, iGo has pulled the licensing agreement for three months now. So now back to the starting point: Does Anyone Know Any Air/Auto/Desktop combined AC adaptor certified for C300 (NOT C110). It is just silly to carry two AC adators for one device! Retractable would be really really nice!

The only other manufacturer I can think of that might do one is Targus. They have a tip configurator:
    http://www.targus.com/us/accessories...2&PageNumber=2

That lists the #14 tip suggested by smackboy1, but it's for the C110, and they don't list the 303 as a notebook they support. Yet again you might have to phone them, but their site doesn't list an 800 number. The numbers I've found are:
    714-765-5555 (phone)
    714-765-5599 (fax)
That's in Anaheim. I don't know where you're located, but it's worth a call if they can help.

    ATTN all C-300 Series Owners:

If you ever want to travel in style, or find a nicer replacement AC/DC adaptor, or charge it in a boat, airline etc., please do take the following action:

    go to: http://www.igo.com/igotipconfigurator.aspx
select "Can't find a product" on the Step 1 - Drop down box
Add in "Laptop" for Type of Product, "Acer" for Brand, C300 for "Model", and tell them you would want one for Juice 70!

Apparently, there isn't much demand for iGo Juice 70 tip for our model! Please help out. Eventually you may want to replace it with something more functional and lighter weight? It can charge two devices at the same time! :)

I hope a little bit of grassroot work may do the trick to help iGo to decide whether to support our beloved tablets.

igo tech support has told me in 2 emails first:

Tip 3 or 5 is compatible with the acer.

    Later:

Tip 14 is for acer. (Have to ask for this tip separately.)

I followed up to make sure that they are all OK, and they insisted that they were.

Has anyone *tried* these to make sure? Have the Juice 70 and I'm seeing that 3, 5, 14 or "D" might be right... but would love to know if anyone is actually using one of them successfully... I have a C303...

    Thanks!

I've "tried" the Kensington 33051. Using tip D as recommended by Kensington, I plugged it into my cigarette lighter outlet in my car, and nothing. No charge on my C302, no light on the 33051. Called Kensington tech support, and they are replacing the unit (the 33051). They said a light should have come on the 33051 when I plugged it in. Their tech support were very polite and helpful, and they have sent me a new unit before receiving the damaged one, which I've sent back to them. I should receive the replacement by the end of the week, or Monday at the latest, I hope, as I'm traveling that day. So basically I don't know whether tip D is compatible, as the unit didn't work from the outset. As soon as I get the new unit I'll try it and post the results here.

I think this may work ... Sharper Image has the following item on sale for $49.99. Though again, you will have to add another 14 oz to your computer bag. Anyone has tried this yet?

Plug-In Power Adapter Kit for Airplanes & Vehicles
    #AK309
Power your portable electronic devices in a car or on an airplane. Save your battery!
    $49.95
