Still waiting. Called UPS tracking and it is scheduled to be delivered by this Thursday. A question for all tho.. I was told that this is coming from Shanghai, China. So the machine is made in China I suppose? Does anyone know for certain?
Thanks.
Welcome Laika,
I've got an M275 myself. An older one with the Centrino 1.4 in it. I tossed some more RAM in and upgraded the wifi to 802.11g, and only have a few minor complaints.
The machine itself is rather heavy, that's no big deal with a backpack, but just carrying it around by itself gets tiring. Also, in class I get a ton of glare on my screen unless the angle is perfect, somewhat annoying, and since the screen is so large, it's hard to get that perfect angle for the whole screen. Lastly, when the screen is down on the keyboard, the wireless range seems to be cut nearly in half. The antenna is directly under the keyboard, and apparently the screen really sucks the life out of it. If you're not finding your wireless network, try opening up the laptop and scan again. Usually whenever I close it again I don't end up losing the signal entirely, it's just weaker.
Let us know your own thoughts.
Mike

What's not made in China anymore..lol? That's where my M200 just came from.
If it is "made in China", a better phrase would be "assembled in China", ie, it doesn't mean very much. The major components come from all over the world.
Parts made all over the world...Tablet made in China...Roger.
