Akil,
double click by pointing, or by clicking? If clicking, turn down the sensitivity and see if that helps. If not, then you've got me.
Ok,
For the past 3 days or I noticed that while I was using windows Journal, I would sporadically loose all functionality of my Pen (while in portrait orientation) until I restarted the computer. I figured that it may have been my wacom drivers, so I uninstalled them and reverted back to the pre-installed drivers on Win XP-TP'Ed. The good news is that I no longer loose pen functionality; however, now it appears as though I can perform a "double click" simply by pointing at randon icons, or areas of the screen.
I have no idea what is causing this, because i have never had this problem before (until a few days ago). I've tried to think what recently instally software could have caused such a phenomenon, but I can't think of anything.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Note:
I've been an advocate of Acer, despite other's horror stories, and my own painful experienceS, but I'm beginning to feel like calling Acer HQ, and telling them that I don't want their tablet anymore "may I please have my monney back?".

QC,
It mysteriously double clicks simply by "pointing". I don't even have to tough the screen sometimes !! Very unnerving... and frustrating...
Akil,
You know, the thing that recognizes a "click" is actually your stylus, not the screen. That's why you can rest your palm on the screen and it will not register anything. There is a senser (probably just a simple electro resister) in your acer stylus that tells it whether you're pressing it or not (and supposedly has 256 levels of sensitivity).
I have a feeling that your stylus tip is jammed too deep. Try using the twizzer that came with your tablet and pull it out and re-insert it back to see if it helps.
Dave,
I thought of that actually, so I changed my stylus tip. Nothing. Furthermore, when it goes haywire, not even the smaller stylus will work.
Thanks for the suggestions though :-)
