I found the m1400VA with 512 memory and 40 gig HD for $2270.I think there’s a $40 coupon somewhere too. Just an FYI to folks looking.

Ah, you were looking at it under small business (which charges tax), look under Dell home (which doesn't charge tax)
edit: Also, if you register at some deals sites, you get a percentage back. The one I use is Fatwallet, you get a 3% rebate from fatwallet if you register and go through their links. It's a good deals site too.
PLUS, if you use a credit card that gives 1 or 2% back, then you can save even more money.
