If you're a speed freak... you might want to try this cpu/irq priority tweak I've been using on my M1300.

Set a system restore point: -Usual disclaimers about editing the registry apply..

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\PriorityControl
Right click, enter new - Dword Value:
IRQ8Priority = 2
Win32PrioritySeperation = 26
