I am trying to organize my Notes by moving them

I am trying to organize my Notes by moving them into different folders (I just downloaded the GB2005 Sp1 and was able to do this before) and I can drag the notes, but once selected, they "stick" to the pointer and cant be drop! I have to hit ESC to be able to get rid of them.

The drag and drop works fine everywhere else (explorer, desktop,etc)

Any ideas?

I'm not seeing that. Can you describe these things:

1) Are you on a tablet?
2) if so, portrait or landscape?
3) Are you dragging just a single note?
4) Where are you trying to drop it (exactly where is your cursor when you let go?)

Any other specific steps to re-create the problem would be helpful.

Portrait, tablet with Xp sp2, happened both with the mouse and the pen.
dragging just a single note. Trying to drop it into a note subfolder inside gobinder.

But, i rebooted the machine and now its working fine. I'll post if it happens again

We have noticed some problems with Drop messages on SP2. Not sure if it's a driver or OS bug, but we get a Drop message even if the mouse or pen is still down. It's possible that the conflicting state confuses the application. We are working on making the drag/drop operation resistance to this problem and have also brougth it to Microsoft's attention.
I am not sure that's your problem, but it sure sound like it.
