I've heard that it's 2100 Mhz but I asked and they told me 2700 Mhz. It's 200 pin SODIMM.
I just bought 1GB @ 2700 Mhz from Crucial for like $400.
What type of Memory does the Scribbler SC-2000 take?
Thanks.

Am I correct that the 2000 series has a single memory slot that you can upgrade and 256MB soldered on to the motherboard?
Yes. But 1280 MB of memory is more than sufficient for anyone seeking a Tablet PC.
(I'm not sure it's soldered to the MB but it's not user accessible.)
If you take out the chip it is a 200 PIN PC2700 DDR333 NOTEBOOK SODIMM 256 MB. When I talked to tech support, Jay insisted that it was a DDR266. See for yourself.

I have been told that the 333 will clock down to 266; but the 266 cannot "clock up.". Ergo, to be on the safe side, get the 333 (PC2700)!
I found this today at www.newegg.com
