    Default Looking for M1200 memory

I have a friend looking to upgrade his 2x256Mb RAM M1200. Of course, I said "no problem" and had him send it to me. Then I discovered that the memory chips have a slot in a different place than the M1400, which I didn't know.

    So...

Does anybody have some M1200 or compatible RAM they aren't using? Or know a source? I've looked on Crucial.com but no listing for the M1200.

John: A quick Google search turned up this:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/512-memory-ram-f...12171653a16333

...plus several other hits. Try it (Google, I mean).

    Hi John,

Try Kingston ← link is to Kingston memory for Motion M1200 (not cheap).

Who would have thought that old memory like that was so expensive. I can buy a 1Gb for a new Motion for less than that!
