I'm getting geared up to use my tablet as my white board in classes this fall, and I've had great sucess using UltraVNC and a wireless router. Problem is, the IT people are showing some resistance to me bringing in a wireless router to my classrooms. They have their reasons, though I don't really follow.
So, my question to you all is if you have had any luck using a wireless USB adapter and a P2P connection in doing presentations? I have all the hardware, but is there any good free software that I can install on the desktops and tablet to run this (will UltraVNC do this)? Is there a big lag time between what happens on the tablet and what shows on the big screen?
I'm grateful for any help here.
Eric
