Greetings, Tablet PC experts!

I have a pretty silly question for you, but I hope you will answer it for me anyway...

I am a clinical psychologist doing research in health care settings. I am working on a project that entails health care patients and the use of a web-based screening form.

I envisioned my participants using a Tablet PC to answer the questions from my web-based application.

I am looking for a piece of hardware that is light, rugged enough to handle being held/used by patients (even dropped maybe). What do you recommend?

Also... this may be OT.... I'm also envisioning linking the tablet pc to another pc that is networked..... will I be able to access my web-based application this way?

Anyone who can handle any computer can 'work' a tablet pc..since it is a fully functional pc running an advance version of win XP Pro (tablet edition)

looking for one that can take 'even dropping'...dont even think about it!!...most wont take much of drop...brittle plastic 'ya know. But Fujitsu has a 'bump case'..one that has extra padding around it, but the screen is exposed.

There are ruggedize units...but get ready to pay mega bucks..

Since the tablet is a full PC..if you can link any pc to another pc on your network, a table will work as well...
