Yikes. That's a bug. I couldn't find any workaround, either. We'll get on that.
Hi all,
I've been enjoying using GoBinder as a faculty member: my fall semester's classes are here, as well as my electronic research journal. If I had just waited a couple of months I could have gotten GB for free, but then I wouldn't have enjoyed using it so long, I guess.
I've just had a frustrating experience: I've got a note (all ink) that's several screen-fulls long. I had a brainstorm and wanted to insert a line or two in the middle, but I can't -- the page is forced to the last screen-full no matter where or when I choose the tool, and I can't get back to where I want to add space (well, I can move the scroll-bar to the right place, but as soon as I move the pen over the paper it jumps back down to the bottom).
Any tips on how to overcome this? Might it be changed in the next update?
Thanks,

On second thought, it's an ugly workaround, but you could cut and paste the top part of your note into a new note, insert space you want, and then cut and paste the bottom part of the note after your insertion.
Like I said, ugly, but if it's critical to get text in the middle of your note, it'll work. As you're building the new note, you might put things on multiple pages to avoid the problem if you want to insert more space later. At least you'll be able to insert space on the smaller pages.
A workaround is to zoom out or using the "Fit height" zoom option so you can see the whole paper, then insert the space as best you can.
Any news on when this bug will be fixed?
I think I like this solution best, for it won't take so long that I'll forget what my brainstorm was about- thanks for all the replies!quote:Originally posted by Ian.Stiles

We are planning a service pack with critical fixes (sorry no new features[cry]) shortly. We are currently monitoring any crash logs or other critical issues we receive. There is no exact date for the release yet, but I would guess within the next two month.quote:Originally posted by MartinJ
